De Wet Determined to Strike Back in Second Half of Micro MAX Season

Luhan de Wet, the ever-consistent Motorsport Fanatix™ ambassador, heads into the second half of the 2025 MSA Northern Regions Rotax Kart Championship just a few points adrift of the Micro MAX lead. The Xtreme Racing Team driver has been in the thick of the title fight since the season opener, delivering heat wins and podiums with trademark pace and precision.

Currently sitting on 199 points to championship leader Adriaan Steyn’s 201, Luhan knows the margin is razor-thin. With just three rounds remaining, every race will count. His blend of speed and racecraft has already seen him claim victories under pressure, and he will be eager to turn that determination into a decisive points swing.

"The gap is small, and I’m going to fight for every point,” says Luhan. “We’ve been fast all season, and now it’s about keeping that momentum, staying focused, and making the most of every opportunity.”

With Zwartkops next on the calendar, a track where Luhan has tasted success before, fans can expect a fierce charge as he pushes to seize the championship lead and set himself up for a title-clinching run.

Backed by De Wet Automotive Service & Repair Services, Luhan's campaign is far from over; in fact, it's just heating up.
