Following a challenging opener at Formula-K where a mechanical issue in the final heat limited him to third overall, Alonzo bounced back emphatically at Vereeniging. The Stretto Racing driver was untouchable throughout the day, securing a perfect hat-trick of victories to claim the overall win and reignite his championship defence.

With that dominant performance now behind him, Alonzo heads to the fast-flowing Zwartkops circuit with renewed confidence. Known for its tight layout and limited overtaking zones, Zwartkops demands precision and bravery, two hallmarks of Alonzo’s racing style.

As the defending Northern Regions Bambino Champion, Alonzo is keen to make another statement this weekend. Tied on 105 pts with rival Sebastian Shuttleworth, a strong result at Zwartkops will be vital in keeping momentum on his side as the championship fight intensifies.
