Corsa dei Gemelli Takes Championship Fight to Zwartkops Finale

Corsa dei Gemelli heads to Zwartkops Raceway for the final round of the 2026 Investchem MSA4 Championship on 16–17 October, with Mikel Bezuidenhout once again spearheading the team’s challenge for the national title alongside rookie teammate Wianko Fourie.

For Bezuidenhout, the season comes down to one final weekend. Having remained firmly in the championship battle throughout the year, he arrives at Zwartkops with the opportunity to take the fight all the way to the final chequered flag.

The familiar Pretoria circuit has already featured on the MSA4 calendar this season, giving the team valuable data to work from ahead of the finale. With its short, technical layout and limited room for error, qualifying and track position will again play an important role across what promises to be a decisive weekend.

Bezuidenhout has been one of the championship’s leading contenders throughout 2026, building on the experience gained during his runner-up campaign a year ago. His pace and consistency have kept Corsa dei Gemelli in the title conversation, and the final round now represents one last opportunity to convert that challenge into championship success.

Alongside him, Fourie will bring his rookie MSA4 season to a close. The young driver has steadily gained experience throughout his first full national single-seater campaign, improving his racecraft and understanding of the car with each outing.

Returning to a circuit he has already raced at this season provides Fourie with an important benchmark. With considerably more experience behind him than when MSA4 visited Zwartkops earlier in the year, the objective will be to finish his rookie campaign with another step forward and a strong showing for the team.

Corsa dei Gemelli will also be represented in the Formula Ford Kent competition, with Andrew Horne, a regular South African Endurance Series competitor, set to pilot the team’s car during the weekend. Horne’s appearance adds another dimension to the team’s Zwartkops programme as it contests both the MSA4 and Formula Ford Kent categories at the season-ending event.

The Formula Ford Kent entry continues Corsa dei Gemelli’s involvement in the category at selected rounds, complementing its primary MSA4 programme and giving the team another opportunity to feature strongly across the weekend.

For Corsa dei Gemelli, however, much of the focus will inevitably be on the championship battle at the front. Bezuidenhout has carried the team’s title aspirations deep into the season, and the task at Zwartkops will be straightforward: maximise every session, execute cleanly and take every available opportunity.

For Fourie, the finale offers the chance to underline the progress made during his rookie year, while Horne will look to make his mark in the Formula Ford Kent entry.

After a season of highs, setbacks and sustained championship pressure, Corsa dei Gemelli arrives at Zwartkops with everything still to race for.

Team Principal Jean Bezuidenhout said:

“We have reached the final round with Mikel still fighting for the championship, which is exactly where we wanted to be when the season started. We know what is required, and our focus is on executing every session as well as possible. Wianko has also made good progress throughout his rookie season, and we want him to finish the year strongly. It is also great to have Andrew in the Formula Ford Kent this weekend, giving us another car to support and another opportunity to represent the team well. We will give all three drivers everything we can and see where we stand when the final chequered flag falls.”

The action gets underway on Friday with practice, while two races are scheduled for Saturday.
