CHLOE STUART SHOWS PROMISE DESPITE EARLY DRAMA AT RED STAR RACEWAY

The BMW M// Performance Parts Race Series, part of the Regional Extreme Festival presented by Coca-Cola, delivered another action-packed weekend at Red Star Raceway, though for NGK Pablo Clark Racing’s Chloe Stuart, the excitement was short-lived.

After showing strong pace throughout Friday’s practice sessions, Chloe carried her momentum into qualifying, securing an impressive sixth place on the grid, her best performance yet in the competitive Class E field.

However, her weekend came to an abrupt end on the opening lap of Race 1. Heading into the sweeping right-hander at Turn 1, a rival spun just ahead of her, leaving Chloe with nowhere to go. Despite her best efforts to avoid the chaos, contact was unavoidable, forcing her into retirement before she could complete the first lap.

While disappointed, the young South African rising star remained philosophical about the setback.

“Motorsport teaches you something every single time you get into the car,” Chloe reflected afterwards. “This weekend reminded me that some things are simply out of your control. I was just a passenger when the incident happened, but I’ve learned to take every moment as an opportunity to grow and improve. What matters most is focusing on the next step and coming back stronger.”

True to her team spirit, Chloe spent the rest of the day supporting her Pablo Clark Racing teammates from the sidelines, embodying the determination and positivity that define her approach to racing.

Backed by NGK, Itoo, EasyEquities, Liqui Moly, BMW Bryanston, LMS Electrical Contractors and AutoZone, Chloe remains one of the most promising female competitors in South African circuit racing, with her sights already set on the next round of the championship.
