Cornofsky Braces for High-Stakes ROK Red Star Finale

The 2025 Northern Regions ROK Karting Championship reaches its climax this weekend at Red Star Raceway, where Mini ROK title challenger Kayde Cornofsky will aim to close out a hard-fought season on a high.

Competing for the Xtreme Racing Team, Kayde enters the final round in fine form after a year of consistent front-running performances, including multiple wins and podiums, that have kept him firmly in the championship hunt. His remarkable consistency throughout the campaign, scoring key points at Zwartkops, Killarney, and Red Star, has made him one of the standout performers of 2025.

“Red Star is always an exciting track to race at,” said Kayde. “We’ve had good pace here before, and I’m looking forward to ending the season on a strong note. The focus is on maximising every race and giving it everything we’ve got one last time this year.”

Kayde’s season has showcased both pace and strength. Despite fierce competition in the Mini ROK class, his ability to recover from setbacks, such as challenging heats earlier in the season, has underlined the determination that saw him crowned the 2023 National Kid ROK Champion. With his signature smooth driving style and the Xtreme Racing Team’s technical strength behind him, Kayde is expected to be in the mix for victory once more.

The Red Star finale promises plenty of action as the Northern Regions’ finest go wheel-to-wheel one final time this year.
